acon-digital-acoustica-8-premium
Acon Digital - Acoustica 8 Premium

Acoustica 8 Premium is the mid edition of Acon Digital's audio editor for Mac, Windows and Linux. It adds immersive formats up to 7.1.2 and a large chunk of Acon's plugin range to the Standard edition, for post-production and dialogue work.

The editor

Acoustica 8 is a full audio editor rather than a DAW: waveform and spectral editing, multitrack, and a clip-based workflow with stereo and spectral clip editing. You can paint out a cough or a chair squeak in the spectral view, edit across tracks, and master to the finished file without leaving the program. With ARA in a compatible DAW it opens directly on the track you're working on.

What Premium adds

Immersive audio up to 7.1.2, plus Acon's Restoration Suite, Mix & Mastering Suite, Drum Production Suite and Extract:Dialogue 2. Bought separately those plugins alone would cost more than Premium does, so if you need even two of them, this is the better buy.

Who it's for

Post-production, podcast and dialogue editors, and anyone doing restoration who'd otherwise be looking at RX Standard. Ultimate is only worth the step up if you mix in 9.1.6 or want DeVerberate 3, Verberate Immersive and DeFilter too.

Features

Everything in Acoustica 8 Standard

Immersive multichannel editing up to 7.1.2

Restoration Suite: DeNoise, DeHum, DeClick and DeClip

Mix & Mastering Suite: six mixing and mastering plugins

Drum Production Suite: Remix:Drums and DeBleed:Drums

Extract:Dialogue 2 AI dialogue cleanup

ARA support in compatible DAWs

System requirements

Version: 8.x

Mac: macOS 12 Monterey or later, native Apple Silicon and Intel; 4GB RAM, 10GB disk space; AU, VST3 or AAX host for the plugin version (Pro Tools 2021 or later)

Windows: Windows 10 (build 14393 or later) or 11, Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 or faster; 4GB RAM, 10GB disk space; 1920 x 1080 display; VST3 or AAX host for the plugin version (Pro Tools 2021 or later)

Linux: public beta on Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora and RHEL-based distributions

Runs standalone, and with ARA in compatible DAWs

Licence: activation code redeemed at acondigital.com

SOUND7 is an authorised Acon Digital reseller.
