About

My Sound design story.

I’ve spent close to two decades pushing synths to their limits, making presets that actually hold up in a track.

For over ten years, I’ve supplied factory sounds and sample packs to manufacturers. Like most producers, I was frustrated by how much of what’s out there just doesn’t cut it.

So I built SOUND7 to fix that.

The goal is simple:
proper, usable sounds at a fair price.

Everything is designed and curated in-house, in an acoustically treated studio, and sold exclusively through this site.

I also work with a small number of carefully chosen sound designers to bring in fresh, high-quality sounds from around the world.

Built for producers.

The studio runs through a high-end RME conversion chain into a Neumann monitoring setup, all within a treated space. Every part of the signal path matters.

It means your sounds arrive balanced and ready to drop into a mix.

Less fixing. More creating.

How packs are produced.

Nothing gets rushed.

For presets, I design 80 to 100 sounds, then cut it down to the best 64. Each one is level matched, tested in different contexts, and checked for consistency. No harsh peaks, no weak spots.

Sample packs follow the same approach. The method shifts with the genre, but the standard stays the same. A tight, usable set of sounds that actually help you start and finish tracks.

Everything is delivered in high-quality WAV, with a clean signal path unless colour is intentional.

The bottom line

Whether it’s synth presets or royalty-free sample packs, the aim is simple:

sounds that inspire and slot straight into your music.

If something’s off, get in touch and I’ll sort it.

We actively support these businesses for their high quality contribution to the music production eco system.
