Europa features 150 original sounds for Arturia Jup-8 V4 and Analog Lab, exploring the latest version of Arturia’s Jupiter-8 emulation, which enhances the classic synth with added analog warmth and expanded modulation. The presets cover shimmering pads, lo-fi keys, deep basses, cinematic strings, and versatile synth patches for any style of music production.

Arturia’s Jup-8 V4 faithfully emulates the legendary Roland Jupiter-8, a defining analog polysynth of the early 80s. Known for its rich tones and innovations like polyphonic unison and keyboard split mode, the Jupiter-8 became a staple of the era. Jup-8 V4 brings these sounds into the modern studio with its signature character intact, without the high cost of the original hardware.

In designing the Europa presets, I focused on Jup-8 V4’s advanced features, including additional LFOs, an integrated sequencer, and the Modulation Mixer. The result is a diverse set of sounds that blend classic Jupiter-8 tones with modern modulation techniques, offering both authentic vintage patches and forward-thinking textures.
