McDSP - 6060 Ultimate Module Collection Native

The McDSP 6060 Ultimate Module Collection is McDSP's biggest modular processor, with over 30 modules for EQ, compression, saturation, distortion, filtering, expansion and gating, and up to six of them running at once. It's for engineers who want one plug-in that can be a channel strip, a parallel processor or a sound design chain.

Six modules, two paths

Load up to six modules in any order and swap them from the selector panel or each module's menu. Split Mode divides the chain into two separate signal paths, so parallel compression or a dry/dirty blend happens inside one instance.

Beyond the 6050

The 6060 adds custom modules not found elsewhere in the range: bass-optimised biasing for big low end, transformer-based tone shaping for top-end shine, tape simulation and de-essing. Its compression modules also get updated algorithms with feedback and feedforward processing and, on a few modules, negative compression.

The sound

The 6060 is at its best when you want colour and control together: a tape module and a transformer stage into a compressor on a bus, or a heavily distorted parallel path blended under a clean vocal. If you only need EQ and compression, the 6050 or the 6020 and 6030 are simpler and cheaper.

Native or HD?

Native runs on your computer in AAX Native, AU and VST3, which is all most studios need. If you mix on Pro Tools HDX or an Avid VENUE S6L, 6060 Ultimate Module Collection HD adds AAX DSP support.
