Acon Digital - Drum Production Suite

The Drum Production Suite is Acon Digital's bundle of two AI drum plugins for Mac and Windows: DeBleed:Drums and Remix:Drums. Bought separately they're £105.90 here, so the suite saves you £18.95.

What's in it

DeBleed:Drums removes spill from close-miked drum tracks in real time, without the choked hits and lost ghost notes a gate gives you. Remix:Drums splits any drum loop or stereo drum recording into six stems (kick, snare, hat, cymbals, toms and other) so you can rebalance or process each one.

How they work together

One cleans up multitrack drums, the other pulls apart drums that were never on separate tracks. Use DeBleed on a bleedy live take so each close mic can be compressed and EQ'd on its own, then Remix:Drums on the overheads or room mics to pull the snare up without bringing the cymbals with it. Remix:Drums is just as handy on sample loops: drop the hats from a break or put the kick through its own chain.

Who it's for

Mix engineers recording live drums, and producers who build tracks from loops and breaks. If you only do one of those, buy the single plugin.
