D16 Frontier: Free Limiter and Expander Plugin

Frontier from D16 Group is a free audio plugin that works as both a limiter and an expander. It's built for transparent, precise control over dynamics, whether you're mixing, mastering, editing podcasts or sound designing.

Key features

• Transparent sound that keeps your original recordings clean and unaltered
• Precise control over dynamics, from taming peaks to bringing out subtle detail
• Real-time visual feedback to monitor and adjust your dynamics
• Sidechain support, so external sources can shape the processing
• Mid-side (M/S) processing for shaping the centre and sides of a stereo image
• A/B comparison to check your settings against the original

Where it fits

Frontier isn't tied to one genre. It works across music mixing and mastering, post-production and broadcast.
