PSP Audioware - 2445 EMT

PSP 2445 EMT is a reverb inspired by two of the earliest digital reverbs, the EMT 244 and EMT 245. It's a simple, very musical reverb for vocals and drums, sitting somewhere between a spring and a plate in character.

Early digital reverbs have a grainy, slightly lo-fi quality that modern algorithms polish away, and that's why people still want them. PSP worked with Dr Barry Blesser, who designed the original algorithms, and added extra controls the hardware never had. You can run either engine or both at once.

Two engines

The 244 and 245 models can be used separately or together, with extra parameters for shaping the sound and mixing the reverb that weren't on the original units.
