Collection: Spire Presets & Soundsets

Why Spire deserves its own presets

Spire made its name in trance and EDM, and for good reason. Four oscillators with up to nine unison voices each, two multimode filters with a spiky character all of their own, and an FX section that does most of the mixing for you. It cuts through the midrange without swamping the mix. Analogue warmth isn't really its thing, but for a trance lead that's rarely what you're after.

The factory banks show off the range. A genre pack does the other half of the job: the presets are voiced, level matched and given useful mod wheel moves for one style of track, so the sound is ready when the idea is.

Which Spire pack is for you?

Trance Zero Vol.1: uplifting and Trance 2.0

64 presets in the vein of Above & Beyond, Grum and Armin van Buuren, with plucks getting the biggest share (20). Every preset has the mod wheel assigned.

Progressive Moments Vol.1: progressive and deep trance

64 presets from deep, rolling grooves to euphoric breakdown leads, all level matched. Works just as well in house and uplifting techno.

EDM All Stars Vol.1: main-stage EDM

64 big-room presets under the influence of Hardwell, Alesso and Martin Garrix: 23 main stage leads, big basses, chords and drop leads. Subtle it isn't.

Retron Vol.1: synthwave and outrun

64 neo-80s presets influenced by Dynatron and Timecop1983!, with soft attacks, long releases and plenty of phaser and chorus. Clean, polished synthwave rather than vintage grit.
