Extract:Dialogue 2 is Acon Digital's AI dialogue cleanup plugin for Mac and Windows. It splits a recording into voice, reverb and noise in real time and gives each its own fader, for film, TV, podcasts and interviews.

Three faders, not one knob

Most dialogue denoisers give you a single amount control, and turning it up to kill the noise starts eating the voice. Extract:Dialogue 2 separates the signal into Voice, Reverb and Noise channels, each with its own fader, mute and solo. You can drop the traffic by 20dB and the room by 6dB while leaving the voice untouched, and audition exactly what's being removed.

What's new in version 2

Reverb reduction is the big one: version 1 only separated voice from noise. Each channel also gets a sensitivity control with a frequency-dependent curve, so you can focus the processing on the low-mid rumble or the high-end hiss, plus its own EQ section. You can soften a bright room tone without muting it. True stereo processing runs separate models on mid and side, which keeps centred dialogue clean and the ambience wide.

Where it fits

It runs in real time as an insert, so there's no offline render and no audio leaving your machine. It's built for speech: for music, look at Remix or DeVerberate 3 instead.
