Acon Digital - Remix:Drums

Remix:Drums is Acon Digital's real-time AI plugin for splitting drum loops and recordings into six stems: kick, snare, hat, cymbals, toms and other. It runs on Mac and Windows.

What it's for

Got a break with a great groove but a hi-hat that's too loud? Turn the hat down. Want the kick from one loop and the snare from another? Solo them. Remix:Drums gives every element of a stereo drum track its own fader, mute and solo, in real time, with no offline processing.

Beyond loops

It works on recorded kits too. On overheads or a room mic you can lift the snare or tame the cymbals without touching the rest, which is a fix that's otherwise impossible after the event. With multi-output routing in supported hosts, each stem gets its own channel for separate compression and effects.

Where it fits

Producers working from samples and breaks will get the most from it. If you also record live drums, the Drum Production Suite adds DeBleed:Drums for not much more.
