Audiomodern - Nock Playbeat 4 Expansion

Nock is a hip-hop and R&B drum expansion for Audiomodern Playbeat 4 on Mac, Windows and iPad: 40 unlocked presets and more than 250 samples for beatmakers who want urban kits that Playbeat can shuffle into fresh patterns.

808s with room to move

The kits are built around deep 808s, crisp snares and soulful percussion, the core of most modern hip-hop and R&B. Loaded into Playbeat, each preset becomes a starting point: hit the randomiser and the engine rewrites the pattern while keeping the kit, so you can go from a laid-back R&B pocket to something busier without leaving the preset. In a track, these sit happily under a sampled loop or a sparse keys part where the drums carry the groove.

Who it's for

Playbeat 4 owners making hip-hop, trap-adjacent R&B and lo-fi who want a dedicated urban kit set. Audiomodern sometimes spells it Knock; it's the same pack.
