Martinic - Lem Echo Music

Martinic Lem Echo Music is a modelled version of the Italian tape delay that was often paired with combo organs in the 60s and 70s. It's a characterful vintage echo for vocals, guitars, drums and synths.

Three fixed playheads give it a rhythmic, slightly unpredictable quality that a modern delay doesn't have, and the wow, flutter and tape age controls let you decide how worn out the machine should sound. It's the same delay that's built into Martinic's Elka Panther, now on its own.

Heads, tape and mixer

Playheads sit at 80, 210 and 330 ms on a 9.5 second tape loop, with seven tap combinations. There's a two-channel mixer with bass and treble tone controls, wet mix and feedback, a vintage VU meter and a stereo mode with pan. The reverb from the Elka Panther is included too.
