Ten effects. One bundle. No filler.
Uhbik 2 is u-he's full effects suite — ten separate plugins covering everything from reverb and delay through compression, EQ, filtering, pitch shifting, and modulation. Each one is built to the same standard as the rest of the u-he catalogue.
Surround processing up to 7.1 is included across all ten plugins, not just tagged on to the reverb. Every plugin also shares the same modulation matrix, oscilloscope, envelope, LFO, and mapper — so the depth is there when you want it.
Version 2 is a free upgrade if you already own Uhbik 1. Download the installer and your existing serial unlocks it.
The Ten Plugins
Uhbik Ambience

Plate reverb plus early reflections, with four room algorithms: small, direct, open, and natural. Separate bass and treble decay controls. The kind of reverb you forget about because it just works.
Uhbik Delay

Five independent tape-style delay taps, each with its own time, pan, volume, and feedback. Built-in filters and tape flutter modulation. Panning spans all active surround channels.
Uhbik Compressor
Two compressors in series — standard downward compression for peaks plus an upward inflation stage that brings up low-level detail. Feed-forward and feed-back detection modes included.
Uhbik EQ
Two semi-parametric bands with automatically adjusted Q, two cut filters, and a low shelf. Change the frequency and the Q sorts itself out. Minimal controls, low CPU.
Uhbik Runciter
State-variable filter with parallel lowpass, bandpass, and highpass outputs. Built-in envelope follower, MIDI control input, and a distortion circuit that goes from saturation through to full audio chaos. Watch your speakers on that last setting.
Uhbik Grainshift
Granular pitch shifting with adjustable grain size, transposition in semitones, and feedback. Second mode uses FFT phase vocoding. Negative scale values run grains backwards. Good for doubling, textural effects, and things that probably shouldn't exist.
Uhbik Shifter
Continuous barber-pole frequency shift — different from ring mod, different from chorus. A smooth, psychedelic spatial effect that syncs to tempo. Careful engineering keeps the artefacts minimal even at extreme settings.
Uhbik Flanger
Through-zero flanging via dual tape machine simulation, host-syncable. Drive adds second harmonic distortion for a more pronounced whoosh. A highpass filter keeps the low end under control.
Uhbik Phaser
Up to 42 all-pass filters. Feedback takes it from shimmering and silky through to sharp and metallic. Works in stereo, quad, 5.1, or 7.1. New frequencies are created that weren't present in the original signal.
Uhbik Tremolo
LFO modulates volume, filter cutoff, and surround position simultaneously. 16-step user-definable patterns for rhythmic effects, Haas effect surround positioning, and a flow LFO for swing. Not just a volume wobbler.
Shared Features — Every Plugin Gets These
- Modulation Matrix — 8 slots, drag-and-drop. Any source (MIDI, LFO, envelope, mapper) to any continuous control on the panel

- Oscilloscope — View audio output alongside up to four modulation signals simultaneously

- Envelope — Works as an envelope follower or triggered envelope from audio or modulation sources

- LFO — Multi-waveform, syncable, usable as S&H source or Mapper input

- Mapper — Up to 128 values, assigned to MIDI notes, modulation sources, or triggered increments

- Surround Processing — Up to 8 channels (quad, 5.1, 7.1) across all ten plugins
