Wave Arts - MR Click 6

MR Click 6 is a click and crackle remover for Mac and Windows, for vinyl transfers and digital pops. It treats big clicks and fine crackle with separate processors, because they're different problems.

Clicks and crackle

A click is a single large disturbance, such as a record scratch or a bad digital edit. MR Click detects it and rebuilds the audio around it. Crackle is the fine, high-frequency scratchiness of dust and wear, which it smooths out wherever it's detected.

Keeping the music intact

The crackle processor has onset detection, so it leaves the attack of drums and plucked notes alone rather than softening them. You can monitor just the removed clicks and crackle to make sure nothing musical is going, and the display shows exactly where it's acting. Ideal for digitising a record collection or cleaning up samples.
