Wave Arts - Power Suite 7

Power Suite 7 is Wave Arts' bundle of five mixing and mastering plugins for Mac and Windows: TrackPlug 7, MasterVerb 7, FinalPlug 7, MultiDynamics 7 and Panorama 7. Bought separately they come to £458 here, so the suite saves you £159.

What's in it

TrackPlug 7 is the channel strip: gate, compressor, 10-band EQ with EQ Match, transient shaper, tube saturator and limiter. MasterVerb 7 is a smooth Hall and Plate reverb with a ducker. MultiDynamics 7 is a six-band compressor and expander. FinalPlug 7 is a transparent limiter with loudness compliance. Panorama 7 is a binaural 3D spatialiser with a position sequencer.

Who it's for

Between them they cover tracking, mixing and mastering, so it's a strong foundation for a new studio or a sensible upgrade from stock DAW plugins. The sound is clean and transparent throughout rather than vintage-coloured, and every plugin has a scalable interface, A/B buffers and unlimited undo. If you only need one or two, buy those individually. If you'd use three or more, the suite is the better deal.
