McDSP - Retro Pack HD

The McDSP Retro Pack bundles the 4020 Retro EQ, 4030 Retro Compressor and 4040 Retro Limiter. They're original McDSP designs with a vintage look and sound, rather than copies of specific hardware.

What's included

• 4020 Retro EQ HD
• 4030 Retro Compressor HD
• 4040 Retro Limiter HD

Why the bundle

Together they make a simple, musical channel: a broad four-band EQ, a warm compressor with a mix control, and a two-knob limiter. The Retro plug-ins are quick to set up and hard to make sound bad, which makes them good on tracking and on drums, bass and vocals at mix time.

HD or Native?

HD adds AAX DSP, so the plug-ins run on Pro Tools HDX cards and Avid VENUE S6L live consoles as well as natively on your computer. If you don't have HDX hardware, Retro Pack Native does the same job for less.
